Bebe

I'm really not good at remembering to write on this thing. Today, I've been thinking so much about Dane's mom, Bebe. She passed away about 4 years ago, and I still miss her dearly. I just finished reading a paper written by a 7th Grader, in rememberance of Bebe. It was written by her neice, Emily. It was absolutely beautiful, Bebe would be so proud. It's been so hard without her here to share all of our joys with us. Tripp would absolutely adore her, and it makes me so sad that he won't know the amazing woman she was. "The epitome of a Southern lady" is the best way to describe her. Bebe, I love you and miss you dearly every single day! You raised an amazing son, who I love with my entire being....Thank you!

Long time-no write

well, it's been a while since I last wrote, but I'm back. Things have just been really busy lately. Dane and I went to the Georgia game in Fayetteville, which was fun despite the loss. I went to see the DMB concert with some friends on Tuesday, which was so much fun. I'm going to Fayetteville next weekend for a girl's weekend. I can't wait to hang out with all my girls! The weather has been great!!! I just love the fall. There is nothing like the weather, the football, and all the fun festivities. Tripp is going to be a duck for halloween. It should be real cute! I've been working a lot lately, and I'm fighting a bad cold right now too. That's about all to report. When I've got something exciting, I'll let ya know :)

Breathe

Well, this week has been interesting to say the least. Work has been absolutely bananas. I had to travel on Tuesday and didn't get home until about 1:00 am on thursday morning, and went to work at 8:30. Fun stuff.

Tripp is really beginning to talk. He sang "elmo's world" the other day, and I could hardly believe it. They're using big cups in his class at school, and he's even saying his numbers is Spanish. WOW!

We're planning on going to the Traveler's game tomorrow night. I hope the weather stays nice. It's been a great summer.

BEAUTIFUL Saturday

Does the weather get any better than this? What a great day we've had. We went to the zoo, and Tripp rode the Train for the first time. He loved it. All of the animals were out and about, and we just enjoyed walking around and being outside. He's pretty worn out and went down for a nap a few minutes ago. It's just amazing how quickly time flies by. He's getting to be such a big boy! Not many other plans this weekend, except a birthday party tomorrow afternoon. I love lazy weekends. I wish they came around more often!

Busy but lazy saturday

Today is the first Saturday in 5 weekends, that Dane and I are actually in town together. We've both been traveling a lot this summer. I've been busy with housework and running errands for a baby shower tomorrow. I need to go to work either today or tomorrow too, which absolutely sounds like no fun at all. I've been thinking I need to get a bunch of my pictures together in albums. I'm really so horrible at that. I also want to finish ready a few books that I've started (Power of Now and the New Earth). I also want to take up a hobby--maybe a dance class, tennis, or yoga...hmmm...not sure, but I will keep ya posted.

Uneventful day

It's a Friday night, and I'm watching Tripp play on his new plasma car he got for his birthday. Boy oh Boy, Friday night fun sure has changed! I can't believe he's going to be 2 tomorrow. Time really does fly by so quickly. I'm worried that I'm going to miss everything that happens, b/c it moves so fast. Tripp starts a new class in a few weeks....crazy stuff. Anyhow, not too much else to report today. I'm really enjoying this blog stuff. Not sure why I didn't start sooner, but I'm glad I'm doing it now. It's something we'll have forever. nighty night kiddos.

My first blog

This is the first blog I've ever done before. Not really sure what to write or what I'm supposed to be doing, so I guess that just takes time. Today has been a good day. We're still recovering from Tripp's 2nd birthday party which was on Sunday afternoon. He had such a good time. Something funny Tripp said today....He was wanting to play with Dane's cologne, and we told him it was poison. He said: "I need poison." Dane and I just started cracking up. Anyway, I guess I'm going to hit the sack. It's been a long day.
